    What’s Happening at the Universal Parks – Week of February 5, 2024

    Here’s a look around at what’s happening at Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood, from February 5, 2024, to February 11, 2024.

    Universal Orlando

    2024’s Universal’s Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval will run daily from February 3 through April 7, 2024. This weekend will feature a concert on Saturday, February 10, with The All-American Rejects performing live.

    This year’s Mardi Gras parade theme will bring the elements to life in six new, beautifully designed parade floats inspired by Earth, wind, fire, water, the sun and the moon.

    With Winter arriving in Central Florida, Volcano Bay may close if the temperature is forecasted to be cold. Make sure to check Universal’s website or social channels for more information.

    Bob Marley’s Birthday Celebration will be held Saturday, Feb 10 from 3p-1a at Bob Marley’s: A Tribute to Freedom in CityWalk Orlando. Admission is free, and features food & drink offerings, as well as DJ and live entertainment.

    NBC Sports Grill & Brew will be offering tables for “Big Game Day”, aka the Super Bowl, on Sunday, Feb 11 at 5:30p. There is a $100 minimum on food & beverage spend per seat, per table. Reservations are recommended.

    Refurbishments

    Please keep in mind refurbishment dates can change.

    The Nighttime Lights At Hogwarts Castle is currently on an extended closure for “future show enhancements”. No reopening timeframe has been given at this time.

    Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges will close for refurbishment starting February 2, 2024. The attraction is set to reopen on March 16, 2024.

    Ko’okiri Body Plunge at Volcano Bay will close for refurbishment starting January 2, 2024. The attraction is set to reopen on February 15, 2024.

    The Reef at Volcano Bay will close for refurbishment starting January 2, 2024. The attraction is set to reopen on February 15, 2024.

    Tot Tiki Reef at Volcano Bay will close for refurbishment starting February 9, 2024. The attraction is set to reopen on February 17, 2024.

    Universal Studios Hollywood

    Universal Studios Hollywood is celebrating their Annual Pass Members with Pass Member Bonus Benefits – which will take place starting February 1 through March 13, 2024. Annual Pass Members will have the opportunity to experience Universal Studios Hollywood with extra benefits only available for a limited time.

    Refurbishments

    Please keep in mind refurbishment dates can change.

    WaterWorld is closed for refurbishment. The attraction is set to reopen on February 11, 2024.

    The Earthquake portion of the Studio Tour is closed for refurbishment until Spring 2024. The Studio Tour remains open but will now bypass that portion.
