Disney Parks has confirmed at the D23 Parks & Resort panel that Mickey Mouse is finally getting his own attraction called Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway – coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. During the D23 Parks & Resorts Panel at the 2017 D23 Expo, Disney has confirmed that the new name of Star Wars Land at both Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be called – “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge”. The lands will feature two major attractions – one surrounding a battle between the First Order and the Resistance, and the other based on an Millennium Falcon experience. Universal Orlando has opened up a new Boutique store in Marvel Super Hero Island – offering super hero apparel and merchandise for women. The new store replaces Adventure Eyewear, which sold sunglasses from Oakley. The store features merchandise – such as shirts, purses, and other accessories – based on popular woman heroes, including Captain Marvel, Black Widow, and Spider-Gwen. Merchandise featuring other popular characters – like Deadpool, and the X-Men – are also available.
It’s getting closer to haunt season, and Universal Orlando has started rolling out more marketing as they tease what awaits us for Halloween Horror Nights 27. Horror Nights is “requesting” guests sign-up to sacrifice their soul before their countdown clock hits zero to join a group called the “Elite Soul Collectors” – promising rewards for joining.
