Universal has increased the price of Front Gate Parking, Preferred Parking and General Parking.
Front Gate Parking, which allows guests to park near the front of the park, has risen from $35.00 to $40.00 for guests who park before 5:00 PM. Front Gate Parking after 5:00 PM remains the same at $30.00.
Meanwhile, Preferred Parking, which allows guests to shave minutes off their walking time, has increased to $30.00 from $25.00. Preferred Parking after 5:00 PM remains the same at $20.00.
Finally, General Parking saw an increase from $18.00 to $20.00.
With these price changes, Universal Studios Hollywood has priced their General Parking above some of their nearest competitors – most notably the Disneyland Resort, which charges $18.00 for most vehicles. However, Disneyland Resort also charges $35.00 for their Preferred Parking option at the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, which is $5.00 above Universal’s Preferred Parking option.
Six Flags Magic Mountain also charges $20.00 for their General Parking option, leaving the Disneyland Resort and Knott’s Berry Farm at the $18.00 price bracket.
