Universal Orlando is getting ready to let the first guests experience the Jurassic World VelociCoaster before it officially opens as Annual Passholder Previews were announced.

The exclusive opportunity will be held from Sunday, May 2 through Wednesday, May 5, and registration is required.

Universal states that due to limited capacity, they cannot accommodate non-registered Passholders and there will not be a standby line.

Universal Team Members are expected to begin their previews of the new attraction starting next Thursday.

With Universal still limiting capacity due to the ongoing pandemic, we anticipate VelociCoaster previews and soft openings to be handled a bit differently than other attractions in an effort to try to stagger crowds and avoid a massive rush all to one area.

Jurassic World VelociCoaster will be officially open on June 10, 2021.

The coaster will catapult guests up to 70 mph and more than 150 feet in the air. The vehicle was designed for speed and engineered “for the hunt”, the coaster’s revolutionary ride vehicle will send riders twisting and soaring across 4,700 feet of track as they encounter near-misses, launches, 12 heart-pounding seconds of airtime, and more – with just a lap bar restraint holding them in place.

Stay tuned to Inside Universal for all the latest on the new coaster and other news around the Universal Parks & Resorts.
