Welcome back to November’s photo update around CityWalk and Universal Studios Hollywood. This month we focus on the different Holiday preparations being made around the park for the upcoming festivities. The construction for the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen and Super Nintendo World has also had some exciting new updates.

We have a lot to unravel. Let’s get started!

    Park Update Index

    » CityWalk Hollywood
    » Super Nintendo World Construction
    » The 2022 Holidays
» A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That

    CityWalk Hollywood

The signage for the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen has finally been installed! The gears on the signage spin and we can also see a sign that says “Food and Spirits” along with one that says “Candy Smith.” It’s truly exciting to see all the details on the exterior coming together as well.

The Grinchmas Store is now open at CityWalk! Located between Lids and Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt, the store offers Grinchmas merchandise along with other toys.

The massive Christmas tree located in front of Universal Cinema is back on CityWalk!

Garlands along with wreaths have been placed throughout CityWalk.

    Super Nintendo World Construction

Bowser’s head can now be seen at the front of the castle and more detail in the surrounding area is being completed. Scaffolding has also been placed around the dome in front of the castle and additional decorations such as coin blocks have been put up as well.

    The 2022 Holidays

There is so much festive spirit as the park is gearing up for the Holidays. We can see garlands with colorful baubles, wreaths, poinsettias, and creatively decorated Christmas trees! The Christmas tree located in the Jurassic World area decorated with pterodactyls is back in the Lower Lot next to Isla Nu-Bar. We even got a glimpse of the tree inside the Universal Plaza as they prepare for the Grinchmas celebration.

The Minions are all ready for the Holidays! The Christmas tree with the Minion baubles is back next to the Minion Cafe and the tree topper is definitely one of a kind! Our favorite Minions can be seen on posters along the walls of the cafe, causing perhaps a bit of mayhem. The collectible Holiday Minion popcorn bucket is also back for $28.99 and can be found all throughout the park.

Grinchmas merchandise is back and can be found in stores located both inside the park and on CityWalk. A variety of merchandise from apparel to home goods can be purchased.

A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That

The City Snack Shop located near the Universal Plaza is serving up some Holiday treats! For a limited time, guests can enjoy treats such as the clam chowder or harvest stew in bread bowls.

That’ll do it for this month’s photo update. As always, we wish you well and thank you for following our continuing coverage of Universal Parks and Resorts!
