CityWalk Hollywood

The walls surrounding the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen have been taken down! “Toothsome” has been painted on the chimney and outdoor seating areas can be seen. “Coming Soon” signs have been placed near the entrance and we are truly excited for it to open!

The Universal Cinema is decorated for the release of Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. There is also a fun photo opportunity located nearby as well.

King Kong greets guests with a Santa hat on and mistletoe in hand.

Super Nintendo World Construction

Super Nintendo World will officially open on February 17, 2023! The Toadstool Cafe is now painted and much of the scaffolding in the surrounding area has been taken down. Banners have also been put up on Bowser’s Castle. At certain times the animatronics are being tested and can be seen moving. A sign has also been placed near its entrance on the Lower Lot!

A Super Nintendo World Snack Stand has opened in front of the Character Shop on the Lower Lot. The Super Mushroom Drink Sipper, 1-Up Drink Sipper, and Super Star Popcorn Bucket can also be found all throughout the park where Super Nintendo World merchandise is being sold. The stand also features Princess Peach, Mario, and Luigi-themed drinks.

Grinchmas at the Universal Plaza

The Grinchmas celebration is in full swing at the Universal Plaza. While you’re here enjoy some Who-blicious treats, shop at Who-mingdales, or even make a stop at the Whoville Post Office! Maybe even meet Max and the Grinch!

Showtimes and signs are placed in various locations in the plaza to guide guests. There are now benches placed in front of the new stage.

Who-ville residents, including Cindy-Lou Who, can be seen enjoying the festivities as well.

Grinchmas merchandise along with treats can be found in shops located throughout the park.

A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That

Lots of great holiday decorations can be seen all throughout the park. Max and his friends welcome guests at Pets Place with festive spirit. The signage along with the surrounding area for The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash and Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem has been decorated as well.

Your favorite characters are all dressed up for the holidays!

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is also being promoted throughout the park. For a limited time only, Mel’s Diner is offering two exclusive drinks inspired by the movie.

That’ll do it for this month’s photo update. From all of us at Inside Universal, we wish you the happiest of holidays, and thank you always for following our coverage of Universal Parks and Resorts.
