Universal Orlando has announced that Passholder Appreciation Days will be returning in 2021 – from August 16 thru September 30, 2021. No details have been shared just yet and will be announced at a later time. Passholder Appreciation Days is a celebration of Universal’s Passholders, where they are given extra perks and benefits – including dedicated entrances and lines, exclusive menu items and merchandise, and extra savings. Bend the Bao has officially opened at CityWalk Orlando. The new restaurant features a variety of items that fuse popular Asian cuisine with diverse ingredients like crab cakes, pork belly, kimchee fried chicken, and more – creating an entirely new mash-up that “bends” the idea of a traditional bao. Universal Orlando has officially opened Jurassic World VelociCoaster, one of the most anticipated attractions at the Resort in recent years. The new attraction lets guests go on a “Raptor Run”, a high-speed chase alongside a pack of Velociraptors on the hunt – reaching speeds up to 70 mph and reaching heights of 155 ft into the air. Universal CityWalk Hollywood has announced they are partnering with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health to host a pop-up COVID-19 vaccination site from Thursday, June 10 to Sunday, June 13 and from Friday, June 18 to Thursday, June 24, 2021, noon to 6:00 p.m. in which the Pfizer-BioNTech and Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccines will be administered by Curative. SeaWorld Orlando made an absolute shocker of an announcement this afternoon as they revealed that they will be bringing Howl-O-Scream to the park for the 2021 haunt season. Media were invited out to SeaWorld today under the impression they would be getting a look at this year’s Electric Ocean event.
