Here’s a look around at what’s happening at Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood, from June 5, 2023, to June 11, 2023.

Universal Orlando

Universal Orlando Resort is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the film, Jurassic Park, with a Jurassic June celebration; featuring special, limited-time experiences – including the Jurassic Park Tribute Store, which is currently open, and Jurassic-Themed Menu Items, which will be available starting June 1.

Refurbishments

Please keep in mind refurbishment dates can change.

Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey will be closed for a brief, one-day refurbishment on June 8, 2023.

The Nighttime Lights At Hogwarts Castle is currently on an extended closure for “future show enhancements”. No reopening timeframe has been given at this time.

Universal Studios Hollywood

Universal Studios Hollywood is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the film, Jurassic Park, with a Jurassic June celebration; featuring Exclusive Jurassic Park 30th Anniversary Merchandise and Jurassic-Themed Food and Beverage Offerings.

Super Nintendo World is officially open! Reservations are not required, however, Universal will utilize a virtual queue system once the land reaches capacity. Make sure to download the official Universal Studios Hollywood app!

Refurbishments

Jurassic World: The Ride is currently closed for an unspecified amount of time.

The Earthquake portion of the Studio Tour is closed for refurbishment until Spring 2024. The Studio Tour remains open, but will now bypass that portion.
