Cirque du Soleil has acquired Blue Man Productions, the entertainment company of the Blue Man Group. The transaction is in line with Cirque du Soleil’s vision for the future, as the Montreal-based creative powerhouse looks to further expand globally and diversify its entertainment offering beyond circus arts. Universal Orlando has opened up a new Boutique store in Marvel Super Hero Island – offering super hero apparel and merchandise for women. The new store replaces Adventure Eyewear, which sold sunglasses from Oakley. The store features merchandise – such as shirts, purses, and other accessories – based on popular woman heroes, including Captain Marvel, Black Widow, and Spider-Gwen. Merchandise featuring other popular characters – like Deadpool, and the X-Men – are also available.
It’s getting closer to haunt season, and Universal Orlando has started rolling out more marketing as they tease what awaits us for Halloween Horror Nights 27. Horror Nights is “requesting” guests sign-up to sacrifice their soul before their countdown clock hits zero to join a group called the “Elite Soul Collectors” – promising rewards for joining. The countdown is currently scheduled to end on August 3rd. Universal Studios Hollywood has finally announced American Horror Story: Roanoke is coming to Halloween Horror Nights. This is the 2nd year in a row the hit anthology series will be featured at Halloween Horror Nights.
