It’s getting closer to haunt season, and Universal Orlando has started rolling out more marketing as they tease what awaits us for Halloween Horror Nights 27. Horror Nights is “requesting” guests sign-up to sacrifice their soul before their countdown clock hits zero to join a group called the “Elite Soul Collectors” – promising rewards for joining. Universal Studios Hollywood has finally announced American Horror Story: Roanoke is coming to Halloween Horror Nights. This is the 2nd year in a row the hit anthology series will be featured at Halloween Horror Nights. Universal Studios Japan held a groundbreaking ceremony for “Super Nintendo World,” the Nintendo-themed expansion that will feature popular characters and areas from Super Mario Bros. Mr. Shigeru Miyamoto, Director and Creative Fellow of Nintendo, Mr. Mark Woodbury, President of Universal Creative, and Vice Chairman Universal Parks & Resorts, and Mr. J.L. Prices for single-day, multi-day, and other Horror Nights goodies have been released.

Universal Studios Hollywood has announced DreamWorks Theatre, an all-new multi-sensory attraction designed to play host to a variety of DreamWorks Animation themed attractions, starting with the debut of Kung Fu Panda in 2018. The new attraction is the first to utilize a DreamWorks character in an attraction since Comcast acquired the company last year. Per Universal’s press release, the new “technologically-advanced attraction” will take guests on a “legendary journey that fuses captivating storytelling” with state-of-the art projection mapping and LED lighting effects. Universal Studios Hollywood has announced “Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter,”a new nighttime projection show that will be featured starting mid-November, transforming Hogwarts castle to help celebrate the Holiday season. From the Press Release: Multiple times an evening, colorful projection mapping will illuminate Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with impressive dimensional animations that melodically dance across Hogwarts castle in tandem to a musical arrangement from of the Harry Potter movies. Hogsmeade village will also be decorated for the Holidays, with festive décor uniquely themed to each of the individual storefronts, along with holiday-themed food and beverages offered.…
