It’s almost time! Inside Universal is holding a member meetup on July 13, 2013 at Universal City between the hours of 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Are you interested in meeting the editors of Inside Universal in person? Want to talk with other fans like yourself? Read on for more details!
Here’s what you need to know: Inside Universal will be holding a member meetup at CityWalk Hollywood at 12:00 PM on the second floor of CityLoft (we’ll be at the benches directly above Bubba Gump Food Co across from King Kong) until 1:00 PM.
From there, we’ll make our way into the park and take a group photo on Jurassic Park: The Ride, Revenge of the Mummy: The Ride and on the Simpsons Ride with a showing of WaterWorld: A Live Sea War Spectacular as a possible event topper – depending on our progress within the park. After 4:00 PM, the group will return back to CityWalk Hollywood for a final photo and disburse. We’ve included a tentative schedule below for your convenience:
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Group gathering at CityWalk Hollywood at the CityLoft benches above Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.
1:00 PM – 3:45 PM: Group photo and ride on the Simpsons, Jurassic Park and Revenge of the Mummy at Universal Studios Hollywood.
3:45 PM – 4:00 PM: Possible showing of WaterWorld.
4:05 PM: Final photos. Meetup officially ends.
Because this event is being held under the Inside Universal name, there will be rules and restrictions as to what you can do within the park.
To make a long story short, this isn’t going to be a traditional theme park visit. Should you agree to attend our gathering, you will need to enter and exit the park within our group. Unfortunately, we can not allow individuals to wander off while our gathering is in progress.
That’s not to say you can’t arrive early and attend the park on your own volition, but once you join our group, you’ll need to stay with us throughout the duration of the entire event (Yes, you’ll need to stay with us during the Simpsons ride – no wanderers!). We can try to be flexible depending on your situation, but please contact us in advance.
As far as other rules: you’ll need to purchase your own ticket if you want to enter the park. No age restrictions are in place, but keep in mind that we can’t become baby sitters. Finally, park rules apply and we expect everyone to act cordially amongst each other.
If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment below or email one of our editors here. Thank you for your interest and we look forward to meeting you in person.
