Universal Studios Japan has released a new keyart visual for the upcoming Super Nintendo World, slated to open next year in 2020. The new visual shows off the multi-layered land, with familiar landmarks such as Bowser’s Castle, Peach’s Castle, Toad’s House, and the familiar look of a Super Mario Bros game level. Yesterday morning at the IAAPA Conference, SeaWorld Orlando unveiled the ride car for their new 2020 roller coaster, Ice Breaker. Opening next Spring 2020, the family-friendly ride will be SeaWorld Orlando’s first launch coaster. Named after the icy Arctic summits, Ice Breaker will feature four launches, both backwards and forwards, culminating in a reverse launch into the steepest beyond vertical drop in Florida — a 93-foot tall spike with 100-degree angle. An extra-affordable Value category hotel, Dockside Inn and Suites will join its sister property at Universal’s Endless Summer Resort, Surfside Inn and Suites, which opened in June 2019. Universal Cinemark at CityWalk has completed the theater enhancements in all 20 auditoriums, finishing the conversion and refurbishment a year after ending their AMC partnership. Each theater allows guests to relax on “Luxury Loungers”, Cinemark’s branded theater seats, with extendable footrests, cup holders and plush seating. The theatre also added the new Cinemark XD auditorium, which features expansive wall-to-wall screens, custom-engineered surround sound with multi-channel speakers and state-of-the-art projection systems capable of delivering 35 trillion colors. Knott’s Berry Farm is commemorating its 100th anniversary with its largest celebration ever, which includes the return of the beloved Bear-y Tales story in an all-new 4-D interactive dark ride.
