Universal Horror Unleashed has unveiled a first look at its new collection of exclusive merchandise, which will be available when the much-anticipated destination opens on August 14, 2025. Universal Studios Hollywood has announced the return of its fan-favorite haunted house, Scarecrow, now featuring music composed by Grammy Award-winning guitarist and songwriter Slash, coming to Halloween Horror Nights 2025. According to Universal Studios Hollywood, the haunted house “puts retribution at the forefront, in which Mother Nature seeks vengeance on the homesteaders for their sins of the past that will be carried out by farmland scarecrows, mute witnesses who have become the guardians of destruction for anyone who crosses their path.” Scarecrow was featured in Hollywood’s 2022 event and has become a staple of Halloween Horror Nights on both coasts.…

Universal Orlando has announced two new street experiences that will be featured at Halloween Horror Nights 34: Mel’s Die-In Zombies and Club Horror. Universal did not share much information, except that more details will be revealed soon. Club Horror is believed to be located in San Francisco and will feature “undead DJs”, while Mel’s Die-In Zombie will be outside of the restaurant in Hollywood (obviously) and feature zombie carhops. Universal Orlando has announced Mutations: Toxic Twenties, a new original scare zone that will be featured at Halloween Horror Nights 34. Universal did not share much information outside of a summary of the zone’s synopsis: “In a 1920s neighborhood, a BzzzCon truck with radioactive cargo crashes into a mobster getaway car, sending the city into toxic pandemonium.” It is believed that this will be the scare zone located in New York. Universal Orlando has announced The Cat Lady of Crooked Land, a new original scare zone that will be featured at Halloween Horror Nights 34. Universal did not share much information outside of a summary of the zone’s synopsis: “Travel down a spooky, winding path to a mysterious home, where trick-or-treaters are transformed into feral felines.
