Universal Studios Hollywood announced today that Jurassic World is coming to the Park in 2019! Another long-standing restaurant is set to close at CityWalk, as it was announced that Emeril’s Orlando will be closing this year. First reported by the Orlando Sentinel, the final day of operation will be July 7. The high-end restaurant, which is operated by celebrity chef and Food Network star, Emeril Lagasse, opened with CityWalk in 1999 and was one of the last original opening day locations left. SeaWorld has announced that their new water slide, Ray Rush, is set to open at Aquatica Orlando on Saturday, May 12. The new attraction combines three unique slide elements, never before seen at Aquatica, into one action-packed attraction the entire family can enjoy together. First, riders will be launched with water jets designed to propel rafts into the first of several enclosed tube sections. Next, riders will swirl into the giant sphere. Universal Studios Japan has announced the opening date for Minion Crazy Ice is set for June 30, 2018. The ride sees the mischievous minions take over the pool at Minion Park, bringing out the gigantic freeze ray gun to turn the pool into an ice rink to help cool off. The 4-seater attraction is a flat-ride, where guests will board “Freeze Ray Sliders”.
