Let’s begin by looking at the progress around Cabana Bay Beach Resort and the Royal Pacific Resort expansion across the street.
Progress continues on the Royal Pacific Resort expansion.
The pedestrian bridge that will connect Cabana Bay Beach Resort to CityWalk continues to be worked on.
Some progress can be seen in this section of the overpass.
We have arrived at CityWalk!
More paint has gone on the Cowfish building, completely covering what once was the upstairs Starbucks location.
A new overhang structure is going up on the side of Cowfish.
The enclosure for the new elevator seems to be nearing completion.
Could this stage see new life during upcoming peak seasons?
The temporary stage by the waterfront has been taken down, offering once again a clear view of the world’s largest Hard Rock Cafe!
Head to the Dippin’ Dots stand in CityWalk if you’re looking for a sweet snack to cool you off in the sweltering Florida heat.

Sunday afternoon in the off season means a short line at the turnstiles!

Over at Universal Studios, these are the wait times at 7 PM, Sunday.
The Ukrainian Ironbelly always stuns Diagon Alley’s visitors.
This secret interactive window, the Slug & Jiggers facade, only has one of its two interactive elements working.
The interactive flower that used to be on the left side of the window has been gone for a few weeks.

Back out in the London area of USF, one of the Cabmen’s Shelters offers some tempting snacks…
…so, while we have the chance, let’s try a loaded jacket potato! Very tasty!
On the way out of the park, the Hollywood Pantages Theatre displays the day’s showtimes for the Horror Make Up Show.
After exiting Universal Studios Florida, the Universal globe bids guests goodnight.
The Universal Studios archway displays the sign for this year’s Rock the Universe event, happening September 5 & 6!
Outside the gates, you can catch a glimpse of the fireworks from Universal’s Cinematic Spectacular.
The jumbo screen by NASCAR Sports Grille teases this years Halloween Horror Nights event.
The courtyard area by Menchie’s and Bread Box has been dressed with a new wood finish.
Very appropriately, Hot Dog Hall of Fame plays baseball games for its guests.
Construction work at Cowfish and the new elevator continue throughout the night.
For those who still have some energy left after a day at the parks, there’s hula hoops and jump ropes to keep the fun going in CityWalk!
There’s definitely more watching going on than playing… Who can blame them, after a full day of Universal fun!
