Universal Orlando has scheduled Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey in Islands of Adventure for a brief one-day refurbishment. Universal Studios Hollywood has shared the creative menu for Universal Fan Fest Nights, inspired by the event’s marquee experiences, including Star Trek, Back to the Future, Dungeons & Dragons, One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisen, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and Super Nintendo World. Tickets are now on sale for the inaugural event, which will take place on the following dates: April 25-27; May 2-4; 9-11; and 15-18, 2025. Universal Orlando has started building a large marquee at the resort’s Kirkman Road entrance. The new sign features Universal in big, white letters. The signage resembles how the entrance appeared in the early 90s before it changed from a single theme park to a multi-park resort. Anchors have been installed in the parallel corner as Universal prepares to add more lettering. Universal has been redoing their resort signage, adding new digital signs at all of the Resort’s entry points. The Margaritaville Lone Palm Airport bar, located in CityWalk Orlando, is closed for refurbishment. No opening time frame has been given at this time. It is believed the closure coincides with the return of the iconic seaplane, the Hemisphere Dancer, which was removed last year for refurbishment. The Hemisphere Dancer was singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffett’s seaplane.
