Universal Orlando has confirmed that Cinnabon and Quiet Flight, located in Universal Orlando’s CityWalk, will close in April to make way for new experiences. The last day of operation for Quiet Flight is April 14 and the last day of operation for Cinnabon in its current location will be April 28. Per Universal, more details on what will be replacing the locations will be revealed soon. Universal Studios Hollywood has opened Florean Fortescue’s Ice-Cream counter within The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The location officially opens on Friday, March 29, but currently operates under a “soft opening”. The all-new venue, located in Honeydukes, features 10 decadent and savory soft serve ice cream flavors, including Butterbeer, Banana, Chocolate, Mint, Orange, Vanilla, Toffee Nut, Granny Smith Apple, Pistachio and Toffee Apple, served in a cup, waffle cone, or souvenir cup. It may be March, but Horror never sleeps! Halloween Horror Nights 2024 is officially under construction at Universal Studios Hollywood. As of now, maze (aka house) construction is taking place in the Curious George Parking Lot and the Revenge of the Mummy extended queue. Universal gets an early start on maze construction to ensure the highly detailed sets are complete by the time Opening Night rolls around. The first track pieces have begun installation on the Fast & Furious Coaster, currently under construction at Universal Studios Hollywood. Currently, the track has only been installed in the purported coaster station; but the surrounding area has been preparing the hillside for beam support – meaning we should start seeing more tracks installed soon.
