Universal Orlando Resort is revealing a new “Tickets In-App” update to The Official Universal Orlando Resort App that will make the theme park entry experience easier than ever before.
Beginning today, guests who purchase select theme park tickets in The Official Universal Orlando Resort App can bypass Will Call and proceed directly to the turnstiles where they can use a QR code on their phone to enter the theme parks.
Guests can access this new feature after purchasing tickets in-app by simply clicking on the menu option called “My Tickets,” making it more convenient than ever to purchase and redeem Universal Orlando theme park tickets.
When you purchase multiple tickets within the app, you can add Guest Information for each ticket and then use the QR Code in the app to scan in those members of your party. Guests will also receive a PDF email confirmation, which you can print or forward to members of your party for their use.
Only tickets purchased directly from within the mobile app on the phone they were purchased from will be available in the My Tickets section of the application. Annual Passes and other special event tickets are not included.
Tickets In-App joins features like ride wait times, resort maps, and even a spot to take a photo of where you’ve parked your car, all of which make The Official Universal Orlando Resort App a must-have when guests are planning their days at the parks.
