This year, the film Jaws is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and Universal Parks will celebrate this milestone by featuring new merchandise inspired by the film. Beginning in May at both Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood, an all-new collection of anniversary-themed merchandise will be available, including a new sipper, bucket hat, baseball cap, crossbody bag, cooler bag, and more. The Raider Image has officially closed at CityWalk in Universal Studios Hollywood. The store offered merchandise for the NFL team, the Las Vegas Raiders, which previously played in the Los Angeles and Oakland areas before relocating to Las Vegas for the 2020 season. Universal Orlando is introducing new “2nd generation” interactive wand experiences to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter starting March 1. Available in four designs, the all-new collection of wands will give guests an enhanced wand experience that includes several new features, such as illumination effects and haptic vibrations custom to each spell. Universal Studios Hollywood has announced that Elphaba and Glinda from the blockbuster film Wicked will make their West Coast theme park debut as part of Universal Fan Fest Nights. Due to popular demand, an extra night has been added. Tickets are now on sale for the event, which will take place on the following dates: April 25-27; May 2-4; May 9-11; and May 15-18, 2025. Universal Studios Hollywood has announced that the Fast & Furious – Supercharged attraction on the Studio Tour will officially close on March 10, 2025. The attraction’s closure comes as Universal is constructing the new Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift roller coaster, which is set to open in 2026. Inspired by the popular Fast & Furious franchise, Fast & Furious – Supercharged launched in 2015 as the finale of the Studio Tour.
