Welcome back to October’s photo update around CityWalk and Universal Studios Hollywood. This month we focus on the exciting progress of the construction of Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen, Super Nintendo World, and take a look at Halloween Horror Nights festivities around the park.

    Let’s get started!

We have a lot to unravel. Let’s get started!

    Park Update Index

    » Super Nintendo World Construction

» A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That

    CityWalk Hollywood

We are seeing some exciting changes to the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen. The dome at the top of the building has been painted gold and a lot of the scaffolding along with black sheets have been taken down revealing the detailing along the walls. We are truly excited and cannot wait for it to open soon!

‘Celebrity Authentics’ will be coming soon to CityWalk! This location was previously the Skechers store.

The water fountain in front of the Abercrombie & Fitch is currently closed off.

A Super Nintendo World store has opened in what was previously the Production Central. A lot of merchandise available within the park can also be purchased on CityWalk! The detailing of the pipes and decals on the walls makes you feel like you have been transported to the world of Mario. There is also a fun photo opportunity inside the store.

Universal UNIVRS is now open at CityWalk Hollywood! This store is connected to the Universal Studio Store and guests can purchase unique character-inspired merchandise. Merchandise ranges from apparel to collectibles and the pieces incorporate popular fashion trends. We absolutely love the giant rubber ducky at the storefront!

    Super Nintendo World Construction

Signage for Super Nintendo World has finally been put up! The warp pipe at the entrance area has been coming together and the sound stage to the right has been painted sky blue. There are a few more mushrooms and warp pipes scattered throughout the land. We can also see signage for the ‘1UP FACTORY’ next to the restrooms.

    Halloween Horror Nights 2022

There are only a few more nights left of this year’s Halloween Horror Nights, but we have loved seeing all the merchandise and decorations throughout the park.

There is a collectible Frankenstein popcorn pail, Light Up Sugar Skull popcorn pail, and Universal Monsters Coca-Cola Freestyle Souvenir Cup.

The Universal Plaza is decorated to celebrate Dia de los Muertos.

Guests can also enjoy a photo opportunity at the end of the World Famous Studio Tour.

Studio Scoop has transformed into Jojo Ice Cream and guests can enjoy some killer dessert options!

A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That

Guests can meet and greet Hello Kitty in her cute Dracula costume!

Dufftoberfest is at the Duff Brewery.

Amity Island is currently closed, but we were able to catch a glimpse of Bruce.

That’ll do it for this month’s photo update. As always, we wish you well and thank you for following our continuing coverage of Universal Parks and Resorts!

Editor’s Note: Due to unforeseen circumstances, it took more time than usual to release our monthly photo update so certain updates may be a little out-of-date.
