Universal Studios Hollywood has announced Monstruos 3: The Ghosts of Latin America, a new original haunted house that will be featured at Halloween Horror Nights 2025. Universal did not share much information outside of a summary of the house’s synopsis: “One wails. One bites. One beguiles. La Llorona, La Muelona and La Siguanaba await in the dark. Universal Destinations & Experiences has announced that Universal Horror Unleashed will open a 2nd location in Chicago in 2027. Universal Horror Unleashed: Chicago will transform a vacant 114,000-square-foot commercial building at 700 W. Chicago Avenue, directly across from the new Bally’s Casino, into a world-class horror attraction and entertainment destination. According to World Business Chicago, the project is expected to generate more than $1 billion in economic impact for the city. Universal has shared more information on their new Las Vegas experience, Universal Horror Unleashed, including details on bringing the Universal Monsters to life when the year-round experience opens on August 14. Universal Orlando has scheduled Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls at Islands of Adventure for refurbishment in October 2025. The attraction will be closed for maintenance from October 6, 2025, until October 31, 2025. Please keep in mind that these dates can change.
