Universal Orlando has shared plans for the upcoming Summer season, from returning entertainment to limited-time experiences that will be featured at Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. The Universal Mega Movie Parade and Cinesational: A Symphonic Spectacular will take place throughout the summer. Universal Orlando is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Jaws by bringing the village of Amity back to Universal Studios Florida for a limited time. Taking over the dock area of San Francisco, near Chez Alcatraz and the Jaws photo op, Universal has recreated a “Little Amity” section, full of signs, props, and references to the previous Amity area that is now home to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley. Universal Orlando has changed its smoking policy, removing designated areas from inside its theme parks. Universal Orlando has released Preview Merchandise for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights. The new merchandise collection, featuring the returning tagline “Never Go Alone,” is available now at Five and Dime at Universal Studios Florida and All Hallows Eve Boutique at Universal Islands of Adventure and online at shop.universalorlando.com. Universal has shared more details on their new Las Vegas experience, Universal Horror Unleashed, including The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, one of the four haunted houses guests will experience when the year-round experience opens on August 14. A new photo op featuring Max and Duke from the film series The Secret Life of Pets has been added to the New York section of Universal Studios Florida. The sculpted figures are located near a bench at Gramercy Park, across from Race Through New York featuring Jimmy Fallon. Universal Orlando has officially opened two all-new dedicated areas featuring The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Super Nintendo World as part of the expansion of the Universal Studios Store in Universal CityWalk.
