Universal Orlando has once again extended the temporary closure of Stardust Racers at Epic Universe, now closed through April 5, 2026. This is now the third adjustment to the ride’s refurbishment schedule. The dual-track launch coaster was originally listed as closed from February 19 – 22, before being extended several times in the last few weeks. It was supposed to reopen on Saturday, March 14, before today’s updated schedule change. Universal has not provided additional details regarding the reason for the extended downtime. Universal Orlando has announced the return of Volcano Bay Nights, which will take place on select nights from May 3 through August 21. The limited-capacity after-hours event invites guests to enjoy the water park after dark with special entertainment, exclusive food and drinks, and access to many of Volcano Bay’s most popular attractions. Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando will celebrate the upcoming The Super Mario Galaxy Movie with a limited-time experience inside Super Nintendo World and at Universal CityWalk. The new experiences and offerings begin on MAR10 Day, March 10, and will run daily through April 13, 2026. Universal Orlando has introduced a new lineup of graphic t-shirts now available across the resort. The collection features a mix of designs based on popular intellectual properties as well as park-specific artwork inspired by attractions and areas throughout the resort. The shirts can be found at multiple merchandise locations around the resort, including the Universal Studios Store in CityWalk and Universal Studios Florida, as well as IOA Trading Co. in Islands of Adventure. Universal Studios Florida has been undergoing an exterior paint refresh at its main entrance over the past month. The updated color scheme moves away from pink tones and towards whites and creams, with tones reminiscent of early Hollywood Spanish Mission architecture.
