Universal Orlando has opened the Brown Derby Hat Shop in Universal Studios Florida, featuring a “Garage Sale” event where items are sold at significantly discounted prices. This store is exclusive to Team Members and Universal Orlando Passholders. Discounts on merchandise can reach up to 70% and include items from popular franchises such as Harry Potter, Marvel, Jurassic Park, and Minions/Villain-Con. Universal Orlando has transitioned the All Hallows’ Eve Boutique in Islands of Adventure into the “Christmas Tree Graveyard & Boutique” for the 2024 Holiday season. The store is located in the Lost Continent and transitions seasonally throughout the year, selling seasonal merchandise. This year’s store features Universal Monster merchandise and generic “Spooky Holiday” shirts. Fans of Halloween Horror Nights should keep a sharp eye for some references to the event, too! Donkey Kong Country in Super Nintendo World has officially opened at Universal Studios Japan! Nintendo Representative Director and Fellow, Mr. Shigeru Miyamoto, and J.L. Bonnier, President and CEO of USJ LLC, along with Mario and Donkey Kong welcomed guests to the Grand Opening Ceremony of Donkey Kong Country. The headline attraction is “Mine-Cart Madness”. Universal Orlando has announced its first-ever Universal Orlando Resort specialty license plate in collaboration with Orlando non-profit, Give Kids the World. Featuring the iconic Universal Orlando globe, the specialty plate is now available for pre-sale purchase, with all proceeds benefitting Give Kids The World.
