Universal Orlando has announced that the Universal Mega Movie Parade will be temporarily unavailable starting October 8. According to Universal Orlando’s website, this hiatus is due to necessary maintenance along the parade route. The parade is scheduled to resume later this month, with showtimes beginning again on October 22, 2025. Please note that these dates are subject to change. Universal Orlando has scheduled seasonal operations for Volcano Bay, their water theme park, beginning November 3, 2025 Volcano Bay will only be open 5 days a week, closing for 2 days. The following dates are the closed dates: Nov: 3-4, 12-13, 17-18, 25-26 Dec: 3-4, 8-9, 17-18, 22-23, 30 Additional dates may be added for January and February 2026. Universal Orlando has announced it will be reopening Stardust Racers on October 4, 2025, in the afternoon following thorough safety reviews. The ride was temporarily closed after an accident on Sept 17 that led to a guest’s death, which prompted extensive inspections and collaboration with state officials. Universal emphasized that guest safety guided every step of the process and that the attraction functioned as intended. Universal Orlando has officially discontinued TapuTapu and has stopped offering virtual lines at Volcano Bay. The change means guests will now have to wait in attraction queues instead of reserving a specific return time. TapuTapu was a wearable wristband that enabled guests to reserve wait times, utilize rental lockers, access interactive elements, and even pay for food and drinks by attaching a credit card to their Universal account. Universal Horror Unleashed in Las Vegas has announced “Krampus & Kin,” an all-new immersive holiday experience starting on November 15 and running through January 3, 2026.
