Universal Orlando
Universal Mardi Gras International Flavors of Carnaval begins this Saturday, February 7, and runs daily through Saturday, April 4 – bringing the spirit of New Orleans and carnival celebrations around the globe to the heart of Universal Studios Florida. The popular event features a dazzling parade featuring vibrant floats, street performers, and tons of beads; live concerts on select nights from top names in music, and an expansive menu of international dishes inspired by New Orleans favorites and iconic Carnaval flavors from 12 different countries.
Volcano Bay is currently operating on a seasonal schedule and will only be open 5 days a week and closing for 2 days. The park will be closed on the following dates this week:
- February 2, 3, 4, 5
Keep in mind that the weather forecast for Central Florida calls for very cold temperatures this week, which may result in additional weather-related closures at Volcano Bay.
Watch Super Bowl 60 at NBC Sports Grill & Brew or the Hard Rock Cafe. No details have been shared regarding NBC Sports Grill & Brew’s plans, but Hard Rock Cafe will feature an exclusive watch party with beer specials and a lineup of signature shareables, running through the trophy presentation. Reservations required.

Jurassic Park River Adventure at Islands of Adventure is closed for a major refurbishment. It is scheduled to reopen on November 20, 2026.
Finnegan’s Bar & Grill at Universal Studios Florida is closed for a major refurbishment. It is scheduled to reopen in Winter 2026.
Revenge of the Mummy at Universal Studios Florida is closed for a brief refurbishment. It is scheduled to reopen on February 3, 2026.
Villain-Con Minion Blast at Universal Studios Florida is scheduled for a one-day closure on February 5, 2026. It is scheduled to reopen on February 6, 2026.
Fyre Drill at Epic Universe is closed for refurbishment. It is scheduled to reopen on February 14, 2026.
Maku Puihi Round Raft Rides at Volcano Bay are closed for refurbishment. They are expected to reopen on February 13, 2026.
Universal Studios Hollywood
Pass Member Bonus Benefits, an event celebrating Universal Studios Hollywood’s Annual Pass Members, begins February 1, 2026. Pass Members can enjoy a variety of exclusive, limited-time perks available only during the event.

Super Silly Fun Land water playground area is closed for the 2025 Fall/Winter Season. It is scheduled to reopen on March 29, 2026.
WaterWorld is currently closed for refurbishment. It is expected to reopen on February 14, 2026.
