Universal Orlando will host “Love is Universal” Nights at the Red Coconut Club on Thursdays and Fridays throughout June. Featuring exclusive drinks, merchandise, a DJ, and live entertainment, Red Coconut Club will be open Thursdays from 5p to 12a, and Fridays from 5p to 1a. Debuting in 2019, “Love is Universal” is a line of pride merchandise celebrating the LGBTQ+ community. Now through August 31, 2024, 100% of profits from the Love is Universal Collection will be donated to local non-profit organizations that support and engage the LGBTQ+ community. Universal Orlando has announced they will open the Universal Epic Universe Preview Center at Universal CityWalk Orlando this June. Replacing the Universal Legacy Store, the all-new interactive experience allows guests to get an up-close look at the new theme park ahead of its opening in 2025. The Summer season is here, and Universal Orlando has opened their 2024 Summer Tribute Store; featuring merchandise from Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, E.T. The Extra Terrestrial, Jaws and Shrek . This year’s limited-time store is inspired by a 1980s-themed retail space celebrating these beloved classics – transporting guests to “The Tribute Store Plaza”. Universal Orlando has announced Triplets of Terror, a new original haunted house that will be featured at Halloween Horror Nights 33. This is the 6th original house announcement, concluding a week of reveals. Here is the official synopsis from Universal: “You’re invited to the Barmy triplets’ birthday bash. Universal Orlando has announced Monstruos: The Monsters of Latin America, a new original haunted house that will be featured at Halloween Horror Nights 33. DreamWorks Land is scheduled to open at Universal Studios Florida this summer. We were kindly invited by Universal Orlando for a first look “sneak peek” at the new kid-themed land before it opens to the public on June 14, 2024. The new area will allow guests to enter “the vivid world and imagination of DreamWorks Animation”, offering up fun for the entire family – with multiple interactive play areas, live entertainment, character meet and greets, and more.
