Universal Studios Hollywood has confirmed reservations will be required for guests when Super Nintendo World opens in early 2023. In an email sent out to Universal Studios Hollywood Platinum Passholders, the email explains the “After 3 pm Express” benefit will not be valid for Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge when the ride opens next year. Instead, Platinum Passholders will now have a “one-time reservation-free entry after 3 pm per day” added to their benefits while specifically stating “reservations are required to enter the land.” The changes to the terms and conditions officially take effect beginning December 2, 2022. Universal Orlando has announced that most of the Woody Woodpecker’s KidZone area will close at the start of 2023. DreamWorks Destination, Woody Woodpecker’s Nuthouse Coaster, Fievel’s Playground, Curious George Goes to Town, and the new Shrek Meet & Greet will close on Jan 15, 2023. The E.T. Adventure, Animal Actors on Location!, Spongebob StorePants, and KidZone Pizza Company will remain open. Woody Woodpecker’s KidZone featured attractions aimed at families with young children.
