Terminator 2:3D set to close on December 31, 2012

October 13, 2012 – May 6, 1999 – December 31, 2012 – You have heard it here first. Inside Universal has learned that the final date for Termiantor 2:3D Battle Across Time will be at the end of the calendar year of 2012.

Now is the time to get your final performances in before this classic Universal attraction goes into the Studio Vaults. No word yet if Universal Studios Florida will be closing the original version of the attraction or not. With many rumors that Terminator will be replaced with a current Orlando attraction named Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem, there is a strong possibility that Terminator will remain in Orlando despite the fact that it is older and inferior to version here in Hollywood (well, inside anyway). We can all safely assume that Japan will be keeping theirs for the foreseeable future.

Stay tuned with Inside Universal for coverage throughout the remainder of the year leading up to the final performance of Terminator 2:3D.
