Krampus is Coming to Halloween Horror Nights 26

Universal Orlando has announced their next house for Halloween Horror Nights 26 – Krampus!
Based on the 2015 Christmas Horror/Comedy film, the movie is a telling of the ancient European folklore that features an ancient demonic spirit that punishes those who are bad during the Christmas season. Universal collaborated closely with filmmaker Michael Dougherty, Legendary Pictures and Universal Pictures to bring authenticity to each terrifying encounter.

Krampus himself is described as a “Half-Goat, Half-Demon” creature, with modern versions using Krampus as a way to prevent children from becoming spoiled during the Holidays.

Here’s an excerpt from the Universal Orlando Blog regarding what we can expect in the house:

The Engel home is decked out for the holidays and all of you are invited to join them. From the myriad of dark elves, gingerbread men wielding nail guns, and the engorged Jack-in-the-Box, to my favorite… the Teddy Bear, each room is full of its own horrifying moments pulled from the film.

You’ll not only try and dodge the invading dark elves around every corner, but will also have to keep your holiday spirits up, while sneaking past the looming presence of Krampus himself. Each encounter with Krampus holds its own unique perspective, as he gathers more souls for his sinister workshop.

This is the 6th confirmed house for this year’s event, with the rest of the line-up expected to be revealed during the “Full Reveal” of the event that should be announced in the coming weeks.

Tickets are on sale now for this year’s highly anticipated event, including single-night tickets, Frequent Fear passes, special Florida resident offers and more. Guests can also purchase a vacation package that includes a ticket to the event, accommodations at Universal’s newest onsite resort hotel, Loews Sapphire Falls Resort, and more.

Halloween Horror Nights will run select nights from September 16 to October 31 at Universal Studios Florida. More information about the event will be released over time. For more information, including ticket offers and vacation packages, visitwww.HalloweenHorrorNights.com/Orlando.
