If you’ve listened to our podcast, you know we are huge fans of Halloween Horror Nights. There’s always plenty of rumors of what will come.. what may have happened but didn’t.. all kinds of speculation. Many years ago, all the way back in the distant time of 2003, rumors began to run rampant that Halloween Horror Nights 13 would offer a special upcharge “Extreme House” for adults only. Local news even caught wind of this and began to report the rumor. What was so “extreme” about it?

    Well..

The Extreme House was to be only for guests ages 18+ who were required to sign a waiver before hand. Unlike all other experiences, the actors inside were allowed, and possibly even encouraged, to reach out and touch you. Guests would be required to wear a harness as there was a section that the floor would drop out beneath you. Oh, you want more? How about actually laying in a casket? Sound like fun? I know. The house was rumored to be taking over the Carnage Warehouse in Marvel Super Hero Island. When you look at the map for the event, the location for the house is there, but it’s left blank. Will we ever see an extreme house? I doubt it. The possible legal ramifications that would undoubtedly show up seems too risky to take the chance on something like this ever happening. It’s definitely an interesting thought, though.
