SeaWorld Orlando made an absolute shocker of an announcement this afternoon as they revealed that they will be bringing Howl-O-Scream to the park for the 2021 haunt season.

Media were invited out to SeaWorld today under the impression they would be getting a look at this year’s Electric Ocean event. During the introductory presser by Cindi Miller, Vice President of Entertainment at SeaWorld, lights began to flicker and the room became shrouded in darkness as the Sirens and her minions invaded the stage.

The entire room was stunned in silence as no one saw this announcement coming.

The separate-ticketed event goes on sale today, taking place on 27 nights on select nights Friday, September 10 through Sunday, October 31 from 7 p.m. to as late as 2 a.m.

While details were mum, we know the event will be headlined by Sirens and will feature haunted houses, scare zones and roaming characters, shows, and an interactive bar. In Greek Mythology, Sirens were dangerous creatures who lured nearby sailors to their doom with their singing voices.

During the event, we were able to sample the signature drink of the event, Siren’s Kiss – which was a Vodka Sour mix with lime, blue Curaçao, desert pear syrup, and blackberry syrup.

The family-friendly Halloween Spooktacular event will still be held during the daytime on weekends.

SeaWorld is offering an $80 two-park ticket that allows guests 1 visit to Howl-O-Scream 2021 at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and 1 visit to SeaWorld Orlando, which is an absolute steal. Guests can visit www.HowlOScream.com/Orlando for more ticket info.
