Knott’s Berry Farm has announced they will be celebrating the 90th anniversary of Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant with celebrations throughout the year. The story of Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant begins in the 1920s when Walter and Cordelia Knott began farming their acres of leased land in the farm community of Buena Park. To make ends meet, Cordelia began serving hot biscuits and homemade preserves to customers of the family’s roadside produce stand. Universal Orlando has announced Major Sweets Candy Factory, a new original haunted house that will be featured at Halloween Horror Nights 33. This is the 3rd original house announcement we’ve gotten in the past week, and just like the other houses – Universal only provided a summary of the house’s synopsis: “You’ve been invited to chaperone a field trip to a candy factory. Universal Orlando has announced Goblin’s Feast, a new original haunted house that will be featured at Halloween Horror Nights 33. Universal did not share much information outside of a summary of the house’s synopsis: “Welcome to the Goblin’s Feast Tavern and visit the goblin village where a lavish feast is being prepared for goblins, orcs, hobgoblins, and witches. Announcement season has begun as Universal Orlando has announced Slaughter Sinema 2 will be one of the 10 haunted houses featured at this year’s Halloween Horror Nights 33 at Universal Orlando. The house was announced during a panel at Spooky Empire, where a Halloween Horror Nights panel was held. Slaughter Sinema 2 is a sequel to 2018’s Slaughter Sinema, spoofing B-movie horror films. The house will take place at the “Carey Drive-in” and will feature 8 different “films” inspired by creature features, grindhouse gore, spaghetti westerns, and more. Universal Orlando has announced dates for DreamWorks Land’s Passholder Previews, taking place on select times on May 24 – 27, 2024. On May 21, Annual Passholders will be able to make a reservation for themselves and up to eight more Passholders to experience the all-new themed land. You can make the reservation here. Universal Studios Hollywood has announced an exclusive after-hours Pass Member Park Takeover, presented by Coca-Cola featuring Sprite Chill, will take place on June 5, 2024. Pass Member can enjoy their favorite rides and attractions, character meet-and-greets, photo ops, outdoor Sprite Chill Lounge, themed games, DJ’s, silent disco, and more.
